The tragedies of Eric Garner, Mike Brown, John Crawford, Jessie Hernandez and others have ignited a national movement around police reform and racial justice. How can grassroots groups capitalize on the increased attention to organize and build coalitions that will impact policy and create sustainable change? In this webinar, we were be joined by representatives of Communities United for Police Reform (CPR), a New York City based coalition, to learn about their local work and how it fits into a larger national and historical context.
